As we step into this Fall season, let us all look around and be so grateful for the things and people in our lives, no matter what state or season we happen to be in today. I can guarantee you that on September the 11th, 2001, there were hundreds and even thousands who found themselves entrapped by worse circumstances, some more literally than others, but mass pain, loss, and death were experienced by many that day.
Through the remainder of the month, the season, and over the last 20-plus years, the sadness, anger, questions, and confusion from that day live among us still in the lives of loved ones connected to the loss of 9/11/2001.
Let us remember and never forget those who gave, whether they survived that day, or gave the ultimate sacrifice; whether they were firefighters, police, city workers, or just willing volunteers; whether in the airplanes, in the buildings, or on the ground - remember.
Thank you for reading.
